Getting Started...

OK. I've never done a blog before, so bear with me until I get the hang of this. Hopefully, I can dredge up enough suppressed creativity to make this site the slightest bit interesting. I have a lot of friends that do this on a fairly regular basis, and they make it seem so easy. For me, however, in all my left-brainedness, it is going to take nothing short of a miracle to keep this site up and running. But, I am going to start on a positive note and say that blogging will become routine for me...if I can remember what having a routine is like. Ever since Cooper was born, the idea of the same-o, same-o everyday is a long forgotten memory, which isn't a bad thing. It does keep life interesting. OK...I am starting to ramble...is it OK to ramble on and on when you blog? Dunno....

In Cooper's world, life is ever-changing. Two weeks ago, he just started sleeping in his crib all through the night. I was so proud of him! I was beginning to think he was going to be sleeping in that pack-n-play until kindergarden. Then, he made the leap to eating cereal, which was a fun, but messy experience for all involved. Greg and I got a kick out of watching him eat for the first time. And finally, last week, he started the tummy to back roll. And, he is attempting some rudimentary form of a crawling that involves a lot of face planting and nose smushing. Actually, it looks probably a lot more painful than it really is. It is a work in progress...

hooray!!! robin, i'm so proud!! It's so much better than the mock website I created for you in college (although I do miss the galloping photo...) The photos of Cooper are ADORABLE!!! Oh, and yes, you can ramble on and on when you have a blog - have you not read mine and Emily's? :)

exactly!! i think the unofficial definition of a blog is: "an outlet for 1. rambling 2. kid bragging, and 3. a combinaiton of the two which involves rambling on about your kids!"

so glad to have you in cyberland! now we can get a cooper fix any time we want!!

These pics are too cute!!! Somehow, motherhood just brings out the rambling in us and it just seems to carry over into grandmotherhood!!!! So ramble on--I love it!!!

I am supposing Cooper will follow suit and call me "Kicki" like Zack and Peyton do. We are such a strange little family with names for aunts--Shu-Shu and Kicki--whoever heard of such!?!?!?!?!

I love it! Cooper is SO cute! We were at Sam today looking for an outfit for our kiddo, but couldn't find one we like. The one you have for Cooper is really cute! We're going to have to go back during the week when all the bookstores are open...only one was today.
